Emma Morris (MBA)
Independent U.S. College Recruitment Consultant
Independent U.S. College Sports Guidance for Domestic, International & Transfer Student-Athletes
Expert advice from a former NAIA student-athlete and NCAA coach helping families navigate recruiting, scholarships, transfers, and college athletics in the United States.
About Emma Morris
Hi, I’m Emma Morris. I'm the founder of Morris Sports Consultancy (MSC), providing independent, athlete-first guidance to domestic U.S., international, and transfer student-athletes and their families who want to study and compete in college athletics in the United States.
Whether you're just starting the process, considering a transfer, or planning your next step, my goal is to help you understand the system, develop a realistic plan, and make informed decisions with confidence.
My background includes:
Former NAIA student-athlete (soccer) at two U.S. universities (2013–2017)
First-hand transfer experience after my original university unexpectedly closed
Undergraduate degree and MBA in Business Administration earned in the United States
Nine years of NCAA Division III women's soccer coaching experience, including seven years as a Head Coach
Experience recruiting, evaluating, and advising prospective student-athletes and their families
Having experienced the journey as an international student-athlete, transfer student, graduate student, assistant coach, and head coach, I understand the process from multiple perspectives and provide honest, practical, experience-based guidance.
I am an independent advisor—not a recruiting agency. I do not represent colleges, guarantee scholarships, or contact coaches on behalf of athletes. Instead, I help families understand the process, explore realistic opportunities, and make informed decisions that are right for them.
While my specialist expertise is in football (soccer), I also provide general guidance for student-athletes in all sports.
Why Families Work With Me
✔ Former NAIA student-athlete
✔ Experienced college transfer student
✔ NCAA Division III Head Coach for 7 years
✔ MBA-qualified professional
✔ Independent advisor
✔ Honest guidance without recruitment agency fees
-
When I began my own journey to the United States, I paid a recruitment agency thousands of pounds for guidance. As I worked through the process, I realised many of the tasks I had paid for could have been completed independently with the right advice and support.
A few years later, my university unexpectedly closed and I needed to transfer. When I returned to the same agency for help, I was asked to pay the full fee again. Instead, I navigated the process myself.
That experience taught me two important lessons:
Many student-athletes and families simply need clear, honest guidance from someone who truly understands the process.
Quality support shouldn't require enormous fees, long-term contracts, or pressure to keep paying.
After spending 13 years in U.S. college athletics as an international student-athlete, transfer student, graduate student, and NCAA coach, I founded Morris Sports Consultancy to provide the kind of support I wish I'd had.
My goal is simple: to provide honest, independent guidance at a fair price, helping student-athletes and their families understand the process, make informed decisions, and navigate their journey with confidence. Whether you need a single consultation or ongoing support, the choice is always yours—no contracts, no pressure, just genuine guidance every step of the way.
-

-
At MSC, we believe transparency matters. We set realistic expectations and are always honest about what we can and cannot provide.
We do not:
Guarantee scholarships or financial aid
Guarantee recruitment opportunities or roster spots
Contact college coaches on behalf of student-athletes
Represent colleges or universities
Act as a recruiting agency
Promise specific outcomes or results
Instead, we provide independent, experience-based guidance that helps student-athletes and their families understand the process, evaluate their options, and make informed decisions with confidence.
-
We believe honest, independent guidance should be accessible, transparent, and free from pressure.
When you work with Morris Sports Consultancy, you're paying for clarity, experience, and practical advice—not promises, placements, or guaranteed outcomes. You're welcome to start with a single consultation before deciding whether any further support is right for you. There are no long-term contracts and no obligation to continue.
Most families spend far more correcting the wrong decision than they ever spend getting the right advice early.
